Unoaerre, Goldsmith art Goes Immersive
To celebrate its centenary, the historic Arezzo-based company commissioned artist Felice Limosani to create the immersive work "Polvere di Stelle." From May 9th to June 8th, it will be on display at the Palazzo della Fraternità dei Laici in Arezzo
Jewelry is entering the world of immersive art, a now widespread method for creating the right atmosphere and environment to engage the public. This work, created by multidisciplinary artist and Digital Humanities Innovator Felice Limosani, is certainly the first to immerse oneself in what we might call the "sense" of gold, perceived through images, sounds, and words in a crossroads of science, abstraction, and contemplation. The project, titled "Stardust," is the result of a collaboration between Limosani and Unoaerre, a leading international jewelry company celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2026. To honor this important anniversary, they have decided to give form, albeit abstract, to the most noble metal: gold. Limosani's immersive work draws inspiration from an extraordinary discovery made in August 2017, which revealed that millions of years ago, gold was created by the fusion of two neutron stars. Stardust is thus a collective symbol of the journey that brings the noble metal and humanity back to their origins. The work will be on display from May 9th, the opening day of OroArezzo, to June 8th at the Palazzo della Fraternità dei Laici, offering visitors the pleasure of a unique experience combining painting, music, and poetry.
