Vicenzaoro Highlights, September 2025: The Italian Goldsmith Sector between Challenges and Strategies
Today at 3:00 p.m. at the Educational Hub, Hall 8, West Entrance, the conference that has now become a benchmark for Vicenzaoro and the entire sector will take place
The Italian goldsmith sector, a symbol of manufacturing excellence and artisanal tradition recognized worldwide, is currently facing a context marked by uncertainty and complexity. Global economic conditions, geopolitical tensions, market volatility, and changes in international consumption patterns make it essential for companies to constantly update their strategies, particularly in terms of internationalization and market diversification. To analyze prospects and challenges, Club degli Orafi Italia, in collaboration with the Research Department of Intesa Sanpaolo, has promoted a meeting that combines companies’ direct experience with the in-depth quantitative analysis provided by economists. The initiative opens with institutional greetings from ICE Agency, confirming the central role of public support for exports, followed by remarks from Maria Cristina Squarcialupi, President of Club degli Orafi Italia and Unoaerre Industries, as well as Vice President of Federorafi with responsibility for sustainability. The program features high-profile contributions: Stefania Trenti, Head of Industry & Local Economies Research at Intesa Sanpaolo, will present updated data on the state of the sector and economic outlook; Augusto Ungarelli, representative of the Club degli Orafi’s Research Center, will provide insights into companies’ perspectives and operational challenges; Daniela Corsini, Senior Economist at Intesa Sanpaolo, will focus on commodities, a crucial element for a sector closely tied to precious metals dynamics; and finally, Luigi Marostica, CEO of Karizia SpA and Vice President of Federorafi with responsibility for internationalization, will share the experience of those working daily in foreign markets. The discussion will be moderated by Laura Biason, General Director of Club degli Orafi Italia, with the goal of fostering a debate that combines data, strategic visions, and real-world experiences. The meeting is therefore intended not only as a moment of reflection but also as a valuable guide for companies, which are called upon to strengthen their competitiveness in a rapidly changing world, where quality, innovation, and adaptability remain the cornerstones for maintaining Italy’s leadership in the goldsmith sector.
