Vicenzaoro Highlights, September 2026: The Beginning of a New Era

The edition of firsts. With the inauguration of the new hall, the presence of T.Gold and the JTF, and CIBJO’s Centennial Congress, that is how Vicenzaoro September 2026 will be remembered

Right on schedule, Vicenzaoro has its new home. After four editions held while expansion work was underway, this September 2026 edition will be remembered as the one of firsts. The doors of IEG’s International Jewelry Show have reopened and there is a tangible sense of witnessing a turning point. Not only due to the growth in numbers or the international quality of the exhibits, but also because the Vicenza event has taken a further decisive step toward consolidating its identity as a global platform for contemporary jewelry by bringing together business, innovation, education, technology and strategic vision in a single location. A moment characterized by a series of new developments destined to leave their mark. The first is the inauguration of the new Hall 2, which, by expanding and renovating the exhibition grounds, offers additional areas to a sector that continues to demonstrate dynamism and a strong international inclination. The second is T.Gold’s integration into the September edition. For the first time, the jewelry manufacturing technology trade show is fully integrated into the Vicenzaoro calendar and exhibition venue and will have two editions per year in Hall 4, thus strengthening the dialogue between product, craftsmanship and innovation. This is a significant step because it reflects the very evolution of the supply chain, which is now fully united under one roof. Nowadays, jewelry cannot solely be assessed through the lens of creativity, design and the value of raw materials. Competitiveness and growth increasingly depend on advanced production technologies, digitalization, sustainability and the ability to interpret constantly evolving markets. Vicenzaoro’s role as a knowledge and dialog hub is also evident in the educational program that will accompany the five-day trade show. An agenda, developed in collaboration with associations, institutions, companies and international experts that reaffirms the show’s role as a true “knowledge hub” for the jewelry industry. From luxury trends to economic outlooks, artificial intelligence, retail, gemological culture and the challenges of sustainability, the sessions will offer practical tools for understanding the transformations that are redefining the sector. The presentation of the Jewelry Trendbook 2028+ by Trendvision Jewelry + Forecasting, Vicenzaoro’s leading observatory for trend analysis, is a highly-anticipated event. In a context marked by rapid geopolitical, economic and cultural transformations, the ability to anticipate consumer behavior and trends in the luxury sector is, in fact, a strategic factor for businesses. In addition to forecasting topics, the event will also feature Confindustria Federorafi’s economic insights, discussions on the applications of artificial intelligence, digital marketing and new competitive strategies. A wealth of content that underscores how value today not only depends on product, but also on the ability to integrate knowledge, data and innovation into decision-making processes. Focus will also still be on jewelry culture and Made in Italy heritage. Gemology, sustainability, transparency and accurate consumer information will be the main topics of numerous sessions for professionals and industry stakeholders, alongside the traditional Retail Talks and Gem Talks. The 2026 edition’s international character will be further enhanced by the Centennial Congress of CIBJO, the World Jewelry Confederation, which will bring over 400 delegates from around the world to Vicenza. A highly symbolic event of practical significance that reaffirms the trade show’s role as a leading platform for discussion on issues of standardization, sustainability and regulatory developments in the sector. Watchmaking culture will also feature with talks by VO Vintage, the marketplace open from September 4 to 7 to fine jewelry and watch collectors and enthusiasts. As always, Vicenzaoro will be more than just business. In the exhibition halls, at networking events, during VIOFF initiatives and in the city’s squares, the dialogue among people, ideas and businesses that has represented the true heritage of the event for years, will be generated. In a time marked by change and complexity, Vicenzaoro once again chooses not only to be a showcase of the present but also a place where the future of the global jewelry industry can be envisioned.
