What’s New at Oroarezzo

New exhibition layout, greater space for sustainability and the best of Made in Italy from the three main gold and jewelry districts. And a focus on New Talents thanks to the Première contest. From 13th to 16th May in Arezzo

The new appointment with Oroarezzo is scheduled from 13th to 16th May with the 42nd edition where, for the first time, companies from the Valenza district will be joining those from Arezzo and Vicenza to generate an exhibition focused on the centrality of Italian manufacturing. Organized as always by Italian Exhibition Group, in collaboration with Arezzo Fiere e Congressi, the Arezzo-Siena Chamber of Commerce, the Municipality of Arezzo, the Province of Arezzo and the Tuscany Regional authorities, numerous new features will be presented, including a total reorganization of the exhibition layout. This will make it easier to explore the various product categories (Gold, Silver, Jewelry, Tech, Cash & Carry), with the aim of enhancing business matching, together with the support of The Jewellery Golden Cloud digital platform, an indispensable tool for creating connections between buyers and exhibitors and optimizing the time spent at the show. Ample space will also be given to the commitment to sustainable production that companies along the entire supply chain are putting into action in order to provide the market with certified and ethical jewelry.

The 32nd edition of Première, Oroarezzo's now customary appointment with new talent from the world of jewelry, will be held at the same time. This year’s theme will be Light and Beppe Angiolini, honorary president of the National Chamber of Fashion Buyers and Oroarezzo ambassador, as well as president of the contest’s jury, will be examining the projects of the participating goldsmith school students with his fellow jurors. Jewelry from exhibiting companies will be joined by the jewelry designs of aspiring young goldsmiths, who will be able to compete in the first-ever “Talents” category with projects on a theme of their choice. A new look to the competition then, which will offer the most deserving creatives of tomorrow the chance to see their idea produced thanks to the collaboration of manufacturing partners in the Arezzo district. With the new Talents category, Oroarezzo is looking to the future and aims to support new talents by promoting direct contact with companies and an encounter between supply and demand for young people who intend to embark on a career in the jewelry sector, where professional opportunities are on the increase. According to Confindustria Federorafi surveys, the demand for new employees and generational turnover in the next five years will be close to 8/10% of the total current workforce.
