Afemo’s Renewal Continues
The Association’s reinforcement strategy, set by newly appointed president Massimo Poliero, continues with numerous new members and a more dynamic, multilingual website
A promise made last autumn when he took office as Afemo's new president has led to the achievement of his first goal. In January, Massimo Poliero told us about the road map he had plotted with the new board of directors and, just a few months later, we can already see the first important results: from January to today, numerous companies have joined Afemo, further enriching the precious overall know-how that only the Italian Association of Jewelry Machinery Manufacturers and Exporters can express so completely and compactly. The new entries are: DisegnaSrl, EurografiteSrl, Graphite Hi-Tech Srl, KolzerSrl, La.Met. Spa, La MicrofusioneSnc, Roberto GiandesinSrl and Violi MacchineSrl.
Along with this internal enrichment, projects for renewing the Association's governance and operational structure have also progressed, and the statute, dating back to 1983, has been updated to be more in line withtoday's challenges and opportunities. On the technological front, a digitalization process has been set up, which will soon lead to the debut of a new multilingual website and the launch of online activities to improve international visibility and support greater attendance at global trade shows, thanks also to new strategic partnerships, including those in the fashion and accessories sector, in order to expand the market.
