Electropolishing according to Koras

Ultra-compact and super-efficient, the German company's new Aquapol® line guarantees excellent results

A German precious metal specialist, Koras’ technology is now used worldwide in the field of electropolishing. The latest generation of compact machines offers a number of features that further enhance the performance of the machining process. The product range has been extended with a larger variant called Aquapol® 200. This model is no longer a benchtop device. The Aquapol® 200 is designed to process high volumes in a short time, so much so that it can handle up to 192 rings per cycle. The new Aquapol® flagship is also equipped with the already popular features of the entire range. These include the Vario Tank accessory, which saves time and increases process reliability. With thistank, electrolytes and materials can be replaced in seconds (for example, to switch from silver to gold). Used with Koras' special electrolyte, all Aquapol® devices guarantee excellent polishing results that are gentle, clean and cost-saving. With reference to the jewelry industry, Koras products achieve the following results: ultra-fine surfaces on gold and silver, polishing on cast, 3D printed and electroformed parts, cleaning on oxidized areas, and polishing on filigree without altering the design.
