Italfimet Platinum 7800 is a process for depositing a high-performance and low environmental impact, pure platinum galvanic coating. The electrolyte deposits a layer of pure platinum with optimum oxidation and corrosion resistance comparable with the palladium baths currently available on the market. It can be used for many applications, both as an intermediary layer in nickel-free processes and as a final decorative coating. Italfimet P4600, on the other hand, is a process for depositing a high-performance and low environmental impact, pure palladium galvanic coating with oxidation and corrosion resistance comparable to currently available palladium alloy baths. The resulting layer of pure palladium is highly compact with no visible defects linked to stress.
