Solutions of Indutherm for Jewelry Casting on a New Level

Appointment at T.Gold stand no. 9.177 to try out Indutherm’s two new casting devices for platinum, gold and silver

Pressure and tilting. These are the two “keystones” that Indutherm took as a basis to develop a unique automatic system for casting platinum jewelry. Extensive research and refinement work has led to the development of MTC 100 V, a device designed to be extremely compact and efficient in achieving its results, including excellent mold filling for both filigree and solid castings. A crucible capacity of 600 g Pt, a flask size up to ø 100 * 150 mm, and a maximum temperature of 2,100° C are the technical data that make the difference. A multi-frequency infrared pyrometer, automatic tilting with adjustable speed and variable pressure buildup ensure optimal process control and consistently high melt quality. The new machine can also be used for casting with other alloys such as gold and silver. Besides jewelry molds, also ingot molds can be cast. The new fully automatic Indutherm VC 460 V casting system is, instead, specifically for gold and silver. The added advantage here is in the optimization of the design, which is more ergonomic and thus easier to handle, to the benefit of better technical performance. Thanks to its novel high-speed overpressure system it’s especially suited for stone-in-place casting and for filigree casting. Moreover, the new automatic vacuum chamber closing and locking system offers a huge increase in terms of comfort, while the vibration system has been further improved and now transmits vibrations even more specifically and effectively. Both new machines are ready for Industry 4.0 and already enable digital process management. You can try out both new products along with the complete machine program at stand 9/177.
