Don’t confuse it with a ruby. The rubellite stone is one of the rarest varieties of tourmaline, loved especially for its vibrant, bright tones, which go from red to pink and even purple. Paired with other precious stones or worn as a solitaire, it gives character and sensuality to next season’s jewels, especially if enhanced by step-cut, round or cabochon shapes.
