Samsung has introduced a ‘magic mirror’ for trying on jewelry and accessories virtually.

[su_highlight background="#63A498" color="#FFFFFF"]MARKET[/su_highlight] The intelligent, interactive digital mirror can easily replace traditional dressing rooms thanks to its sophisticated virtual functions. It is the lastest, ingenial invention by Samsung destined  to quickly become a real must for jewelry retailers around the world. Thanks to OLED (organic light emitting diode) used in TV screens of the latest generation combined with a series of advanced 3D cameras equipped with Intel's RealSense system which detects movement, the 2.0 mirror by the Korean giant allows clients to immediately discover how a ring, earring or bracelet will look on them. The first to try it out was Chow Sang Sang, the Hong Kong jewelry brand which placed it on a wall of its flagship store where customers, positioned in front of the mirror, could try on a series of necklaces on offer; by tapping on the desired one, a dynamic and natural image appears, a perfect simulation of how the jewel could match their outfit. It is an invention of enormous potential, a lot of which is yet to be explored (just think that RealSense cameras react not only to movement but also to voice). It seems likely that soon it will invade boutiques and department stores around the world, but that is not all. In fact, Samsung aims to bring its ‘magic mirror’ not only in stores but also in homes to revolutionize the everyday approach to the creation of one's look.
