Enough of 'black and white' diamonds. For the noblest of precious stones, it is definitely time for colour. Or rather, colours.
[su_highlight background="#042653" color="#ffffff"]RETAIL[/su_highlight] The Fancy Colour Research Foundation has confirmed it in a recent study: the classic 'white' diamond is losing more and more ground to the advance of coloured diamonds. Of course, everyone knows that the luxury and high jewellery world has been flirting for years, in an increasingly more convinced way, with fashion - whose favourite language is, in fact, colour. But now it seems that the king of all precious stones is abdicating and leaving his throne to a new generation of diamonds whose duty will be to interpret the purity of this stone in a rainbow of stylish, new and fashionable colours. The Fancy Colour Index, as the study published by the Fancy Colour Research Foundation is called, reveals that the list price for white diamonds has experienced a 4-6% decrease while the price of coloured diamonds continues to grow. The most popular are the blue, 1 to 3-carat variety and yellow diamonds of 1.5 carats.
