From Torbole Casaglia to Milan, Rome, Paris, London, New York, Los Angeles, Moscow, Hong Kong, Cairo, Cyprus, Antwerp, Prague, Geneva, Baku, Sydney…. There is a little piece of Italy in each of these cities. That Italian “well done” which, from a small town in the province of Brescia, has travelled worldwide to over 200 destinations. The furnishings are made in the workshop of D&SIGN (designsrl.com), a company specializing in jewelry and optical store fittings, where they are devised, designed and created and which then goes to assemble and set them up wherever required. The hand that designs the fittings belongs to Fabio Antonuzzi, designer and founder of the brand, who, for every customer, studies the layout, style, finishing and all the connected technologies, including lighting and security systems, needed in a jewelry store and which are now the brand’s strong point. Next, Michele Gregori, the financial wizard of D&SIGN, comes into play. He checks the production process of every project right down to the last “site specific” phase. Lastly, another architect, Lorenzo Clerici, who has partnered the other two for the last 4 years with the aim of making this little-big company even more international, comes into the picture. «Our strength lies in the fact that we have been working all over the world now for more than 15 yearsand are used to meeting our customers’ every possible need whether in America, Asia or Africa, with absolutely no dividing line», says Michele Gregori. «Moreover, we never impose our style: Fabio obviously has a hand in every project but we know how to listen, resolve problems and create the various requests, from the most classic to the ultra-modern, from luxury malls to street stores. In short, we are flexible from every angle. And this is what makes every store by D&SIGN a business card for us. Jewelers often call us saying that they saw our “product” and then they too become our customers, entrusting us with significant restyling or a totally new location. A chain reaction that often occurs with iconic brand dealers, such as Rolex, for example. In Italy alone, we have already delivered at least 8 stores. We also specialize in showcases, which we study and adapt according to the requirements and style of the boutique. An example? In London, we have delivered showcases to Chatila, while in Geneva, we have just finished the Jahan boutique. As for safety systems, we work with a partner specialized in luxury yachting, with whom we have developed very high precision opening automation systems, previously non-existent in jewelery, able to make our showcases more secure, but also more elegant. In Los Angeles, we recently installed the first AME, a system of cloche that open automatically using an app which opens and closes the glass showcase on command».
