New life at Château de La Colle Noire, the Dior's historic residence

New life at Château de La Colle Noire, the Dior's historic residence

New life to Château de La Colle Noire, Christian Dior’s beloved land which inspired his first scents.

The renovation of Château de La Colle Noire was one of the great Christian Diors wishes, and finally that’s happened. The Monsieur Dior's historic residence close to Grasse, in the South of France, has recently been renovated. The French fashion company Dior completed the work which the designer started few years before his death, now the estate's land is fertile again, and it will be used to cultivate and harvest flowers for his perfumes. Christian Dior discovered the place, known as the capital of perfume, when he was young, Grasse’s flowers inspired him to conceive his first scents: Miss Dior, Addict Eau Fraîche, Diorama, Diorissimo and Eau Sauvage.
