Charlotte Chesnais: Jewelry as a Style and Success Icon
What transforms a piece of jewelry from a simple object into an icon? The French designer, celebrating ten years with a collection that blends the lines of Round Trip with those of Twin, Serti Sculpté, and pearls, explains it to us
«After ten years, I’ve stayed fairly true to my original direction, and that’s something I deeply value. The brand’s DNA has evolved, but it hasn’t changed in any fundamental way — I’d say it has matured. The brand’s values, which are closely connected and aligned with my own, have also remained the same. We’ve always taken a thoughtful, well-considered approach to production, with carefully designed collections. Our aim has always been to make the best possible choices — whether it’s in selecting the workshops we collaborate with, the materials we use, or the packaging. These are all aspects of my work that I feel very comfortable with. After all, we work in the beauty industry, not one of necessity. I put everything that represents me into this project, and I believe that, in a way, it defines a bit my personality as well.»
