Diamonds are forever, a London’s exclusive selling exhibition that transform the King Street galleries into the private quarters of Britain’s favourite secret agent


From today to October  the 31th 2018 Christie’s Private Sales present A Diamond Affair, a selling exhibition including precious diamonds, Brioni’s bespoke Italian tailoring and a wonderful setting featuring John McLusky’s original James Bond artwork. An exciting event that unveil Brioni’s latest collection and transform the King Street galleries into the private quarters of Britain’s favourite secret agent. The jewels, from a magnificent 100-carat diamond tiara to a beautiful rare blue diamond, are displayed alongside original artwork by John McLusky, a leading graphic artist who serialised Fleming’s Bond novels during the ‘50s and ‘60s. These iconic black-and-white drawings were syndicated around the world to global acclaim. For this special event the original artwork by John McLusky will be available for immediate purchase together with the jewels on display. Diamonds are forever is the name of  the fourth novel by the English author Ian Fleming to feature his fictional British Secret Service agent . Throughout the exhibition Brioni offers a glimpse of its distinctive identity, that has often been worn by celebrities since the 1950s, including film stars such as Clark Gable, John Wayne, Gary Cooper and Henry Fonda. Brioni suits are worn since 1995 by Pierce Brosnan in all of his Bond movies and by Daniel Craig in Casino Royale.
