Montblanc and Charlotte Casiraghi: a Lovely Match

Charlotte Casiraghi joined force with Montblanc in creating ‘Les Aimants’, a jewelry collection based on the concept of attraction between opposites

How cool! How chic! This is the first thought we had when looking at the pictures showing Charlotte Casiraghi with the new Montblanc jewels. But there is much more to tell about the new collection, which was launched during Cannes 2018 with an exclusive evening event at the grand mansion Villa Favorita. Montblanc named Charlotte Casiraghi as the new Global Brand Ambassador in 2015, but this time the granddaughter of Grace Kelly is not just giving her image for the new collection of the Maison. This time, she was an active part in creating it.

In fact, ‘Les Aimants’, this is the name of the new jewelry range, is the outcome of the collaboration between Zaim Kamal, Montblanc house’s creative director, and the Princess Caroline's daughter. Charlotte joined force with the storied watchmaker to explore a different concept of femininity embracing a new and modernist aesthetic. Inspired by the idea of attraction between opposites, the collection features a range of circular charm necklaces, stackable rings and bangles made in black and white resin and magnetic silver to enable the stacking. Inspired by the concept of polar opposition, the new items can gel together, allowing the wearer to create a personal and always contemporary style.
