Playing with Flowers
B.Blossom is the first jewelry collection by Francesca Amfitheatrof, the new Artistic Director of Jewelry and Watches at Louis Vuitton. A tribute to the brand’s history with a more impactful sign.
Since 1896. The Monogram has been the same since then, and since then, it has never ceased to “brand” Louis Vuitton’s most iconic articles. Initially bags, suitcases and trunks, hand-designed by the founder, Georges-Louis Vuitton, and then all kinds of accessories up to present day with the “star-shaped flower” featuring in the company’s new jewelry collection. B.Blossom, the first collection by Francesca Amfitheatrof consists of rings, bracelets, cufflinks, earrings, pendants and chains in pink and yellow gold, each offering a different interpretation of the Monogram. Malachite, onyx, white agate, pink opal balls with a sculptured stone or diamond pavè seal are engraved with the unmistakable gold and diamond flower, inspiring a variety of wearability opportunities, especially for the seven versions of ring that can be worn either singly or together, one on top of the other. The gold bracelet encasing five pearls framed by diamonds and onyx along its silhouette, is splendid and particularly elegant. The pendant that closes with a bead and Monogram engraved on the mount, is, however, delicate and extremely refined. Its versatility allows it to be worn on short and long chains as well as bracelets. Games of shapes and surfaces that never lose sight of a mission: to create “bouquets” of precious flowers that spotlight the brand’s history and, at the same time, create lines of sophisticated modernity.
