Porcelain Goes Hot at Sieraad
With over 170 designers who work all kinds of materials, the 16th edition of Sieraad promises to be spectacular
Those who already went at the Sieraad, which opened its doors today in Gashouder, Westergasfabriek, Amsterdam, had the opportunity to enjoy the last works of Ton of Holland, a painter who, inspired by the design and shape of jewellery and implants, produced a series of 32 paintings of 100 x 100 cm featuring a very unconventional theme: jewellery and physical discomfort. This artistic digression is just one of the several surprises of the fair, which is getting more international every year.
All lovers of unusual jewellery, fashionistas, design aficionados and connoisseurs of art should take a walk at the event which this Fall promises to offer a spectacular selection of brands and products. In the course of four days, Sieraad will offer a prominent cross section of worldwide contemporary jewellery design: over 170 designers who work all kinds of materials which makes the fair so special.
