The New Prada’s Fine Jewelry Collection

18-carat gold and diamonds jewels featuring a clean and amusing design. This is how the new Prada’s fine jewelry collection will be

It looks like the jewelry industry is going to have more and more fashionable future. After Giorgio Armani and Gucci, who launched their first high jewelry line at the beginning of this year, now it's the turn of Prada. As reported by us.fashionnetwork.com, the Milanese super-fashion brand will be launching its first fine jewelry collection next May 2019. «The costume jewelry collection is doing very well. But there was more and more demand for a fully fledged fine jewelry line,» stated the designer Miuccia Prada, well-known for her unique approach to fashion, which has made the company she helms one of the “most wanted” in the world. The pieces «are made in 18-carat gold and diamonds sourced from suppliers certified by the Responsible Jewellery Council, a not-for-profit organization founded in 2015 to promote responsible practices in metal and gemstone processing, from extraction to commercialization.» Earrings, bracelets, pendants and necklaces feature a clean design with an ironic twist, thanks to some amusing motifs recovered from Prada’s ready-to-wear and accessories collections of the last few years, such as bananas, guitars, roses, rabbits and robots and the label's triangular logo. They will be available from May 2019 at select Prada stores and on the label’s e-shop, with a price range of €580 to €4000.
