Dior latest show in London

English countryside meets Parisian couture style at the new Dior S/S 17 Cruise collection.

Last Tuesday, the French fashion house Christian Dior showed its Spring/Summer 2017 Cruise collection in a very special location: the stunning, historic surrounds of the English Blenheim Palace. On catwalk everything was about the meeting between English countryside and Parisian couture style. Floral dresses, crown jewel embellishments, iconic Bar jacket, equestrian silk scarves, leather smock dresses, clumpier ankle boots were matched with an unconventional creativity. The show is an important event, which is writing a new page in the story between the legendary Blenheim Palace and the Parisian label, which had already showed there in 1954 and 1958.
