Club degli Orafi: Destination United States

What will the U.S. market scenarios be like in the Trump 2 era? The topic of discussion today at 2 pm in the Educational Hub with Intesa Sanpaolo, Filippo Fusaro from Ice Houston and Licia Mattioli

After yesterday's event, during which Club degli Orafi, in collaboration with Intesa Sanpaolo’s Study Center, outlined the sector’s current context, highlighting company sentiment in a future perspective with a focus on generational transition, today’s conversation shifts to the United States.

Scheduled for 2 pm in the Educational Hub, the conference titled “Destination United States: what scenarios in the Trump 2 era” will take stock of the opportunities and challenges for Italian jewelry companies on the U.S. market, the top destination for Made in Italy exports.

An analysis of the U.S. macroeconomic situation will be presented, with particular attention paid to precious metal price trends. Important witness accounts from companies successfully operating in the United States will also be shared.

The program includes an opening speech by Filippo Fusaro, the new Director of the Italian Trade Agency’s Houston office; a presentation of the study titled “United States, the top market: the U.S. economy and scenarios for the jewelry sector” by Stefania Trenti, Manager of Industry & Local Economies Research at Intesa Sanpaolo; a talk by Daniela Corsini, Senior Economist and Head of Commodity Research for Intesa Sanpaolo, on the impact of precious metal prices in the U.S. market; and, to conclude, a presentation by entrepreneur Licia Mattioli, CEO of Mattioli Spa, who will share her success story and offer new visions for the American market.
