Federica Marangoni's Jewel Sculptures in Milan

A multimedia artist and performer in the 1970s and ‘80, Federica Marangoni has made good use of technological means, which have become fundamental to the experiments that punctuate her artistic career. And experimentation is exactly the right word in the case of the Mini/Maxi exhibition, at the Babs Art Gallery in Milan till January 26th. By comparing her most significant works with a collection of jewelry specially made for the occasion, a noteworthy capsule of Mini sculptures was developed. Miniature works on an extremely small scale that can be worn as art and design jewelry and continue to grow alongside the Maxi projects.
