IEG Awards Excellence in the Jewellery Sector in Dubai
IEG, in collaboration with ICE and DJG, awards 34 buyers from Dubai's Gold Souk, strengthening ties between Italy and Dubai’s jewellery sectors
At the JGTD – Jewellery, Gem & Technology in Dubai, Italian Exhibition Group (IEG), in collaboration with ICEand the Dubai Jewellery Group (DJG), awarded 34 buyers from the Gold Souk in Dubai, including 18 members of DJG. The event, sponsored by the Italian Embassy in Abu Dhabi, highlighted the strong commercial ties between Dubai and Italy in the jewellery sector, celebrating the close relationship between Dubai, the City of Gold, and Italy's gold districts.
The award served as a platform to enhance international cooperation, featuring prominent figures such as Maria Loretta De Toni (creator of the trophy), Marco Carniello (IEG Chief Business Officer), Tawhid Abdulla (President of DJG), and Valerio Soldani (Italy's Trade Commissioner to the UAE and Oman).
