The Couture Design Award 2022

The Couture Design Awards were presented in Las Vegas, a showcase that celebrates the best designers in the world of high jewelery to enhance global talents and exceptional brands. Almost 200 pieces were presented in this year's competition and the judges selected their top picks in 13 categories. A real success that Gannon Brousseau, director of Couture commented as follows: “As soon as they get back from the Wynn Las Vegas, it was really exciting to get on stage at the Encore theater. There were people from all over the world: Europe, Asia and all over the United States. The passing of a year made the difference!” A unique event, an opportunity not only for awards but also for funny skits among the winners. Best in Diamonds Below $ 20,000 to Federico Mariani who jokingly commented "Italians do it better", while the Best in Diamonds above $ 20,000 award was won by one of his compatriots: with the One of Kind necklace, "Raggio di Sole", in white diamonds and yellow infantry, it was Gismondi 1754 who triumphed. Brazilians Silvia Furmanovich and Fernando Jorge won the prizes for People's Choice and Editor's Choice respectively. The Cindy Edelstein Award was revealed during the evening, as Rock House's Tony Goldsberry triumphed as he recalled how "it's our community that has kept us together these days, ours is a great group of friends!" The prestigious jury that judged the countless talents and selected finalists and winners saw the participation of Diana Schade of Saks Fifth Avenue, writer Juliet de La Rochefoucauld, Nikos Koulis, Stellene Volondes of Town & Country and Elle Décor, and Tanika Wisdom by Matches Fashions.
