The aim of this new dossier is to focus on the value of Italian jewelry for the American market, an area that is steadily growing but, at the same time, is increasingly complex in its commercial logic and dynamics. We address this issue by giving voice to independent designers, who describe their experiences in the States amidst opportunities and criticalities, collecting two “made in” success stories, analyzing the American market with figures linked to the value of Italian jewelry imports and a snapshot of the macro trends in a sector that is still dominated by the dualism between branded and unbranded.
