Below are the main highlights for 2025:
• Italy is the leading EU country in jewelry production with 33,000 people employed in the sector, accounting for more than a quarter (27.5%) of the EU total, ahead of France with 27,000, Germany with 14,000, Spain with 7,000 and Poland with 6,000 - Source: Confartigianato.
• In Italy, “Made in Italy” products cover 83% of jewelry sales. In foreign markets, this share, although particularly appreciated, is less than 10%: in Germany it reaches 9%, in France 7%, in the UK 4%. • In the first quarter of 2025, Arezzo ranked first among Italian provinces in terms of value exported, despite a -22.8% decrease compared to the first three months of 2024.
