Take Five with Melania Crocco

For Melania Crocco, the choice to create jewelry is the result of a compromise between her artistic vein and her studies in design

Her laboratory, in the heart of Milan, is "her cave": an intimate and inspiring place, where Melania Crocco loves to work with gems rich in inclusions, because, she says, «precisely through their imperfections, these stones are able to say something.»

Recently, she combined gold with iron to create an entire collection with an ethnic rock style, always with references to the world of music, poetry and nature, essential themes for the designer’s work. Her favorite jewel? A Tibetan bell, made with gold and briolette diamonds, which if worn emits a vibration almost to make its presence felt.
