"L" is for Lady

Renowned Swiss luxury watch brand Breitling has created a new women’s timepiece, Galactic 29,  said to be the smallest model in the company’s history.

The watch brand Breitling is bringing its female clientele a model that’s classic yet reliable, water-resistant to 100m and has something for everyone with a choice of metals and dials: Galactic 29. The Breitling Galactic 29 is created for women whose vision of elegance is inseperable from performance. The Galactic holds a place all its own within the Breitling universe. Designed to radiate a more distinctively cosmopolitan, glamorous look than the brand’s other instruments, it reflects the prestige and class of luxury aviation. This sporty and sophisticated multipurpose model displays its bold personality in several sizes and in a large number of versions – including ultra-refined models dedicated to feminine wrists.

In terms of metals, the 29mm case comes in steel (with a highly-resistant tungsten carbide or diamond-covered bezel) or rose gold. As for dials, choose from ivory mother-of-pearl or deep “Trophy” black with phosphorescent markers or a combination of markers (at 3, 6, 9 and 12) and diamonds. Three luminescent hands in the centre track the hours, minutes and seconds whilst a black-on-white date display lies at 3. The watch is powered by the Breitling B72 Caliber which is COSC certified, is water resistant to 100m and it comes on a brown calfskin stap and tang buckle. A display tells the wearer when the battery is reaching the end of its life.
