«With this collection, I wanted to express two things that are both separate and inseparable at the same time: dynamism and strength. I imagined them as fantastical, almost cinematic.It took me a long time to realize how central the relationship between jewelry and the body is to me. How does a jewel interact with the person wearing it? Does it enhance them? Does it constrain them? Does it improve them?A jewel always responds to intimate and personal questions, and I try to interpret those questions without betraying them.I use gemstones in an almost painterly way, as if they were colors. I respect their history: they reach us after millennia of transformation. What matters is their relationship, the association between materials, shapes, and shades.In high jewelry, it is also about revealing the beauty of what appears simple. Jewelry is an aesthetic embellishment, something ‘extra’, but it is not only that. It can convey a message of love, power, or belonging. Very often, it is a secret conversation with oneself or between two people.I would describe Into the Horsescape as a metonymic collection. I wanted to tell the story of Hermès, its relationship with time and materials, before transforming them into ornament through imagination.It is a journey between the abstract and the narrative, where the ordinary becomes extraordinary. I did not want to choose a single imaginary subject: they all coexist because they share the same voice of freedom.The horse remains one of the mythical animals that inspire the greatest dreams, yet it is almost never represented directly. Its symbol lives within every piece, at times even becoming a metaphor.»
