T.Gold will be back with Vicenzaoro from 17th to 21st March. A combination that acts as a reference point for the jewelry industry with two events organized by IEG and held at the same time during the same week, covering every minimal part of the supply chain, from basic processing technology to finished product packaging. Over the years, T.Gold has become an internationally-recognized platform for anyone dealing with technological innovation, as demonstrated by the consolidated virtuous collaboration with organizations such as AFEMO, the Italian Association of Jewelry Machinery Manufacturers and Exporters. A collaboration that particularly strives to develop emerging markets, as recently occurred in Uzbekistan, for example, and which, in terms of business volume, can promote the development of individual companies and, more generally, the entire sector. Together, we are also examining other possible scenarios which have so far been unexplored or untouched from a technological point of view. In short, the idea is to continue a strategic partnership which has already achieved excellent results. Made in Italy manufacturing has always stood out in markets such as the EU, China and the USA and, in uncertain times like those we are currently experiencing, looks beyond the obstacle through research and innovation. As has been the case for almost twenty years now, thanks to important collaboration with Legor Group, T.Gold will be hosting the JTF - Jewelry Technology Forum, which will also be available post-event with downloadable abstracts and podcasts of speeches by high-tech experts focusing on specific critical issues in jewelry production. In order to give an even further nudge towards technological evolution, IEG will also re-propose the Start Up and Carats project, developed in collaboration with ITA, which at past editions, already attracted the interest of both buyers and exhibitors eager to learn about and keep pace with new devices and digital services applied to jewelry.

JTF divides into three

The seventeenth edition of the JTF - Jewelry Technology Forum, organized as always by Legor Group S.p.A. in collaboration with IEG, will offer a unique opportunity to discuss three macro-topics together with international experts: metallurgy, sustainability and 3D technology. Stefania Trenti and Daniela Corsini from Intesa Sanpaolo will start the conference off with an overview of the jewelry industry’s global scenario during Covid-19 and its consequences on the precious metals market. Then the section dedicated to 3D will start with Ulrich Klotz, Carlo Buckardt and Bonrat Lohwongwatana. Chris Corti, Florian Bulling, Manuela Dabalà and Chris Ploof will continue with metallurgy while the last 3 speeches, given by Conny Havel, Filippo Finocchi and Orlando Balestrino, will focus on sustainability in the field of precious metals. Some of the speakers will intervene remotely. As in previous years, participation is free and subject to registration on jtf.it.
