The Italian designer is, according to Forbes, one of the 30 under 30 names to follow in Europe. And, where it underlines how Forbes describes her as one of the '30 under 30s in Europe', the young people to watch out for in terms of fashion in Europe.
What are your thoughts about your first experience at VICENZAORO?
«I am extremely happy to have the attention of customers and journalists from the jewelry field. I usually exhibit in Paris, during the fashion events, but it's certainly very positive to face such a specialized audience. The compliments I'm receiving here are making me even happier because they come from people who know the sector well.»
Can you tell us about your collection?
«Floricultural is inspired by the secret language of flowers, particularly in oriental cultures, like Japan, where the tiger lily, for example, is symbolic of prosperity, heliconia of uniqueness and honeysuckle of love ties. My re-interpretation is in a minimalist and contemporary key, particularly in the shapes of the pistils, stems, leaves, which adapt to the body and hide a message.»
Does the East influence your aesthetics?
«I love the East, especially China, but travel in general influences my creations. It happens when we come up against different worlds and cultures. We relate to them and make them our own. It is not a literal interpretation, but one which is filtered by what we are.»
What are your plans for the future?
«A trunk show in American boutiques. With stopovers in Dallas, Los Angeles and San Francisco. In order to have further direct confrontation with the customers.»
