The "Vintage" Lounge is Back
From January 20 to 23rd, Vicenzaoro will host VO Vintage, four days dedicated to new informative formats, watchmaking and jewelry masterpieces that made history
«Compared to previous editions, Vicenzaoro January 2023 will see an extra day of VO Vintage, the “lounge”, open to the public, for vintage jewelry and watchmaking addicts. Four days instead of the usual three then, from 20th to 23rd January, in favor of a greater number of live interventions by experts, influencers, collectors and bloggers. Indeed, if there is one aspect that Italian Exhibition Group has always had at heart, it is that of creating culture by including moments of encounter with those who have a voice on the subject, expertise and international recognition. This has always been the case at Vicenzaoro with a series of informative and wellestablished formats and it has been the same for VO Vintage since its first edition. In January, for example, visitors will be able to admire the second part of the “Magister Speedmaster Exhibition” (the first was held at Vicenzaoro September 2022), with a further selection of Omega watches from Andrea Foffi's collection. Over the last twenty years, the Speedmaster has become a reference point in the world of “second wrist” and the book “Magister. A Unique Andrea Foffi Speedmaster Selection” enhances some of the technical characteristics that made it an iconic piece of 20th century Haute Horlogerie, which even landed on the moon during the famous mission in 1969. The Roman entrepreneur will therefore once again be a key player at the Vicenza event with a Vintage Watch and Car stand, alongside other bigname specialists in vintage timepieces, such as Stefano Mazzariol, particularly appreciated among fans of vintage Rolexes, who will also be giving a themed talk. The program of meetings with the best-known voices in the sector will see the return of Bruno Bergamaschi (aka Giorgione), one of the most recognized watchmaking experts in Italy. A new entry on the VO Vintage “stage” will be the contributors of @ItalianWatchSpotter and Andrea Casalegno, founder of @iamcasa, young disseminators who, on social networks and elsewhere, target a decidedly young and smart audience, in line with some of the talks being organized that will aim precisely at this latest generation of collectors.»
