The iconic New York City retailer Saks Fifth Avenue has just opened the Vault, its first dedicated jewelry store at 200 Greenwich. The new luxury destination is a roughly 6,000-square-foot featuring jewelry viewing rooms that display specialty pieces such as the precious Bulgari serpent pendant and a very impressive Aurélie Bidermann cuff, as well as brands exclusive to the The Vault such as Amsterdam Sauer, Anita Ko, Messika, Repossi, and De Grisogono.

The store opening is part of the company’s efforts to broaden its metro New York City footprint: “Greenwich is one of our most productive stores on a sales-per-square-foot basis,” said President Marc Metrick at the opening. “If you’re not doing something different, you’re doing something wrong. When people walk in here, they feel luxury and discovery. And when I say luxury, I’m not talking about price but about quality and emotion.
