La Microfusione: a New Era of Energy Savings
Alongside the new Leonardo furnace by Maule, currently pending patent, the CEN-1 incinerator also joins the La Microfusione family
There are three innovations for the eco-friendly electric furnace for gypsum annealing in the Leonardo series, presented under the Maule brand: in addition to the rotating platform, a fan has been installed to homogenize heat inside the cooking chamber; then, a new gypsum dehumidification process has been introduced, which quickly raises the temperature, shortens cooking times, and reduces electricity consumption; finally, combustion fumes are directed into a post-combustor that burns waste at 950 °C, and the residue is reintroduced into the cooking chamber, recovering heat for further energy savings. Another new addition is the CEN-1 incinerator furnace, the final link in the production chain: easy to use and economical to manage, it incinerates processing residues along with work clothes, rags, filters, paper materials, and more. It operates in both manual and automatic modes, while combustion can be observed through a porthole window.
