Vicenzaoro January 2026 Kicks Off
Vicenzaoro returns on Friday, January 16: a global hub that combines business, technology, and creativity, anticipating trends and connecting the global jewelry supply chain
IEG transforms Vicenzaoro into a global jewelry hub with a strategy that combines internationalization, technologyand culture. Long-standing partnerships with India and Hong Kong, new trade shows in Dubai and Singapore, and the Trendvision Roadshow anticipate trends and scenarios. The redevelopment of the Expo Center and T.Goldfurther strengthen the tech agenda, while the VO Awards and VO Vintage celebrate creativity and heritage. Vicenzaoro confirms its status as the global community’s “place to be”.
Jewelry’s global Think Tank
Thanks to a visionary strategy, IEG has developed a jewelry agenda that covers the entire supply chain, intercepting market demand from Europe to the Middle and Far East, with a stopover in the United States. Added to this is the redevelopment of the Expo Center and its consolidation as a technology hub, which have already set the pace for its future evolution into the global jewelry community’s place to be.
Vicenzaoro: heritage and jewelry’s future at an event for the entire supply chain
For years now, internationalization is the keyword that has led IEG Italian Exhibition Group to transform an overseventy-year-old event into a global hub of business, culture and innovation. In fact, Vicenzaoro, rightly one of the jewelry industry’s top three events, is also the epicenter of a global strategy that has taken Italian jewelry beyond national borders and acts as an essential stage for the world's leading players. An ecosystem that connects markets, foresees trends, creates concrete opportunities for the entire supply chain, has long-standing origins and feeds on relations and valuable collaborations.
Hong Kong, Dubai, Singapore: the community is on the move
The long-standing relationships that have formed the backbone of Vicenzaoro's “foreign-friendly” policy undoubtedly include the Jewellery Association of Hong Kong (JJA), which has been attending the event for over 40 years, as JJA President Victor Chan recalls: «Our adventure with Vicenzaoro began in 1994 with 5 exhibitors from Hong Kong. We currently represent almost 90 companies and are among the largest participants, a sign of strength and unity. The market is evolving, technology brings challenges and opportunities, but business is still about relationships: nothing can replace face-to-face meetings. And Vicenzaoro is more than just a trade show: it is connection, innovation and shared growth. With IEG, we have faced every challenge and celebrated our 60th anniversary.» Further proof is the India Hall, which the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) has been setting up atVicenzaoro since 2003, welcoming over 40 leading gold, diamond and precious stone jewelry manufacturing companies every year. «Our collaboration with IEG is a story of shared growth and mutual trust,» says Kirit Bhansali, President of GJEPC. A partnership that has grown with every edition and is now aiming even higher towards a concrete program of technological exchange between India and Italy: «thus giving access to the Indian market and transferring European know-how.» A synergy that perfectly sums up globalization in the jewelry sector. But GJEPC and JJA are just two examples that demonstrate how a forward-looking vision has always been behind IEG management’s decisions, which have more recently led to the creation of new events abroad, such as Jewellery, Gem & Technology in Dubai (JGTD), and strategic acquisitions, such as the Singapore International Jewelry Expo (SIJE).
Art, technology and culture in tour with the Trendvision Roadshow
This approach has also been applied to the Trendvision Jewellery + Forecasting Roadshow, which, after its debut in 2024, saw the first and second stages of its second edition, entitled “The Quantum Age”, take place in Vicenza and Dubai between September and November 2025. After Vicenzaoro January, this year it will be stopping off in Paris, Hong Kong, Las Vegas and Singapore, bringing expert spokespersons and top designers to the stage in each of these destinations with a view to sharing and mutual exchange, as Matteo Farsura, Global Exhibition Manager Jewellery & Fashion at IEG, explains: «For companies, designers, retailers and manufacturers, the Roadshow is a tactical asset that Vicenzaoro provides to support their strategic planning and promote innovation. Yet another ambitious project that stems from the desire to offer business intelligence tools to interpret cultural changes and anticipate scenarios. The result of research that combines art, technologyand culture to understand how, in this era of convergence, luxury and identity are transforming.»
T.Gold: Tech for Evolution
So, while IEG's jewelry agenda enriches itself further with successful global events, the “parent company” in Vicenza is literally building the industry’s future and forging ahead with the redevelopment of the Expo Center that, in September 2026, will see Vicenzaoro fully integrated with T.Gold technologies. An important milestone that will consolidate IEG's tech agenda with Vicenza increasingly more central as an international hub for gold and precious metal technology. Each year, two editions of T.Gold will expand the range of technical content on offer, enrich the workshop and seminar program, and give continuity to collaborations with leading technology players. This special agenda, which also includes Oroarezzoand JGT in Dubai, will be complemented every other year by vertical events, namely the Jewellery. Technology Forum, which will be back in September 2026, and The Vicenza Symposium, which, after its debut last September with an extremely high international turnout, will return in September 2027.
People, Product, Places, ingredients for success
While waiting to read that new chapter, the team, led by Matteo Farsura, has been working on other new developments. January 2026 will see the first edition of the VO Awards to celebrate manufacturing excellence, creativity, sustainability and craftsmanship, with eight categories open to exhibitors from the Icon, Look and Creation communities. The customary program of talks and seminars, to be followed live and via streaming, will also be further extended with authoritative voices, including Trendvision Jewellery + Forecasting and technical seminars organized by CIBJO, elements that make Vicenzaoro an authentic international think tank. And then there is VO Vintage, the B2C event for vintage jewelry and watch enthusiasts and collectors, parallel but complementary realities of Vicenzaoro, an ever-greater hub for the entire supply chain. Lastly, summing up this wonderful ecosystem created by IEG is the new claim, People · Product · Places, highlighting the fact that only the virtuous combination of people, product and the “right place” can pave the way to certain goals.
