Different yet with the same soul. The newly opened Georg Jensen stores in Munich and London were conceived to embody the philosophy of the Danish brand which, for over a century, has been producing collections whose beauty is indispensably linked to functionality. Designed by the David Thulstrup interior design studio in Copenhagen, the new boutiques host Georg Jensen collections in minimal yet ample spaces with considerable character, in which aesthetic geometrics and Art Deco references prevail. A play of pure light, created by black and white arches, is knowingly interrupted by fine wood walls to give an intimate yet well-studied atmosphere. All the jewellery is showcased in built-in display cases inserted in the walls, designed to acutely yet minimally enhance the delicate details of the Georg Jensen pieces • AR
