Undying love.
The Cartier Trinity ring with its three band interlock has been an iconic symbol of true love since its creation in 1924.

Almost a century old, yet the Trinity ring is still one of the most iconic creations by Cartier. Designed by Louis Carter in 1924 at the request of the novelist, poet and filmmaker Jean Cocteau, Trinity has an aspect that is contemporary even today making it a truly exceptional object. It was an atypical jewel at the time when it was created, among the colorful and exotic of art deco, Louis Cartier must have had to go right back to the basics of essential design without embellishments. Trinity was born from this study, a simple but stunning ring. There are three interlocked bands, each made of one type of gold with a significant meaning: yellow to represent fidelity, pink for love and white for friendship. Trinity is a symbol of eternal love.
