Milan has an exclusive reality, located in the courtyard of the famous building designed in 1838 by Luigi Clerichetti in Via Montenapoleone 23. We are talking about the Montenapoleone VIP Lounge, a special place where to discover the best of Italian design.
Here, later this week, the Roman jewelry designer Fabio Salini showcased a selection of his best high jewelry pieces, enriching the location with the uniqueness shapes and colors of long necklaces, charming cuffs and statement rings.
Every piece stood out for its unusual combinations of colors and materials. Salini's work, in fact, set apart for the use of ‘traditional’ gems such as coral, diamonds, white agate, fine stones including turquoise, often used in combination with titanium, gold, or even leather and raffia.
«I am always looking for materials that make my creations unique through chromatic, light and volume effects. The continuous study to pair stones with new materials, colors and texture, to create ever new combinations aimed at exalting their beauty, led me to use metals that are not often exploited in the jewelry world», explains the designer himself.
